“I-I’m pretty sure that (Y/N) just thinks of this as a normal friend hangout…” The black haired male sighed, his self-esteem dropping to an all-time low. You seem to be having trouble,” Hide pointed out the obvious, “I’m not going to let you waste all of my planning to get you an (Y/N) to go on a date together, she’s an incredibly busy woman.” His cap was low hiding his face and his hairstyle was completely different. “H-Hide-kun? Wh-What are you doing here?” Kaneki stared back, in confusion at Hide whom had done a decent job at making himself unnoticed. “Pst! Kaneki-kun, how’s it going so far?” A certain orange haired male companion whispered, not so subtly, from behind his seat. Meanwhile, Kaneki's anxiety grew larger as each second passed by, trying to convince himself that he would finally do it. Rushing away to the toilet, just to have some time to gather her thoughts back up again, (Y/N) let out a loud sigh as she was alone, allowing her to rebuild herself.
#GHOUL RADIANT ONE SKIN#
“I-I’m going to go to the toilet for a bit, I’ll be right back…” She breathed out, regretting her actions, oblivious to his burst of joy when her skin came in contact with his. “Ah! Sorry about that…” She apologized, as she averted her gaze from the black haired male, apologetically. As she pulled back, she was pained, as seeing him squirm seemingly uncomfortably. (Y/N) retracted her hand, leaving him with a sad, empty void in his heart. Did she like him, the way he liked her? Was she flirting? Was she just being friendly? Was there something on his face? Maybe he was just looking too much into it, whatever the case, like all good things, it ended. He was undoubtedly enjoying but he was puzzled as to what it meant. He began to squirm, unsure of what to do. Slowly trailing downwards, her hand gently made its way down his cheek, lightly brushing his cheek. Kaneki felt his heart beat out of his chest, but it wasn’t all. He was sure he was going to faint as her soft hand was placed on his forehead. “Are you sure? Your face is extremely red.” The (H/C) haired female pointed out, reaching out to place her hand on his forehead, checking his temperature. “E-Eh? Hm, I-I’m f-fine…” He struggled to speak, his blush reddening on his cheeks. “Ne, Kaneki-kun, are you okay?” She questioned, tilting her head cutely. She was directly in front of him, enjoying his company in a small, adorable café by the name of Anteiku. His face continuously grew red, as she made direct eye contact with him. Her voice was melodic, music to his ears. Smiling sweetly as her luscious lips move, producing elegant flowing words, he couldn’t take his eyes off her. Why was it so difficult? They were close friends, they knew each other since the near beginning, and yet, why couldn’t he just speak normally when she was around? Why did he always stutter uncontrollably when the words actually did come out of his mouth? There she sat in front of him, radiant as always. She had the looks of a model people could practically see her kindness floating around her and the way she smiled, it made hearts thump loudly. Murmurs of her beauty and kindness echoed through the streets whenever she passed by, trying to blend in with the crowd. Perfect from head to toe, it was undeniable.
